Supporting Vulnerable Households and Individuals in Crisis

The government has announced a new £15 billion package of targeted government support to help the increasing number of vulnerable households with the rising cost of living, many of whom face longer term financial crisis. Many local voluntary and community sector organisations and networks supporting vulnerable households and individuals such as food banks, CABX and family support services have been facing loss of staff capacity and increased overhead and running costs, placing them in a difficult position to refer clients to financial grants and wider support services.

Turn2Us - a national charity providing practical help to people who are struggling financially will share their insights and learning from their work in the West Midlands, their grant search tool, common application form and an example of a more collaborative targeted approach to addressing poverty.
