Why join West Midlands Funders Network?
The West Midlands is a diverse and complex region. Over the last 40 years the region has changed significantly. Industry, local economics and developments in local and national government have created change and opportunity. But combined with the changing profile of poverty and disadvantage, funders are faced with increased pressures and demands on their resources.
West Midlands Funders Network is the only cross-sector membership network for people and organisations who give funding to communities in the West Midlands. We work with independent trusts and foundations, public sector bodies, local authorities, lottery funders and corporate and social investors, helping them to use their resources effectively to support local communities.
From arts and sports, for children through to adults in later life and from Bewdley to Bridgenorth, our members are investing in local community initiatives, supporting local people everywhere, everyday.
We support our members to be even more effective, through collaboration, knowledge and data sharing and development to ensure the region makes the very most out of the funding available.
