The session looked at the current charity framework for good governance and key organisational policies’ regulatory compliance for those organisations that have a charitable purpose and are not for profit of different legal entities. What should funders be looking for as good governance; what are the signs of potential poor governance, and what are the risks for both the funder and applicant/grantee in performing due diligence?
