Faith, Faith based Organisations and Civil Society

The in-person workshop will explore the role of faith and faith based organisations in addressing inequalities and meeting social needs in the WM. This is an opportunity to improve understanding of different faiths and faith based organisations and the importance of its role in different communities of interest and place. In addition, the workshop will examine the importance of faith and faith values in partnership with other stakeholders in addressing urgent social needs through social action. The seminar will draw from the work of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Faith on partnership working during and beyond the pandemic, and have contributions from faith based community groups and interfaith networks in the region.

Contributors: Faith based organisations (tbc) that will provide a response to some of the issues raised from the report and their experience of working in partnership with funders and wider stakeholders.
