Annual Conference 2024: Exploring Participatory Grant Making

  • The Muath Trust 3 Stratford St N England, B11 1AR United Kingdom (map)

Today, communities want institutions to be more open, fair, and collaborative. That's why funders are increasingly supporting projects where the people affected have a real say. But here's the big question: How do we ensure that limited funds reach where they're needed most, especially when inequality is on the rise?

Our conference dives into the trend of participatory funding. We'll look at how funders are involving communities in deciding who gets what, shaking up the traditional power structures. Through stories and experiences from funders and the communities they work with, we'll explore how to decide if this approach is right for you, the upsides, the hurdles, and the different ways it can be delivered.

Join us as we journey towards fairer, more effective funding.

West Midlands Funders Network Annual Conference 2024 is kindly supported by Charity Bank, RathbonesHeart of England Community Foundation and The Limoges Trust.
