Roundtable Discussion: Assessing the impact of your Grant- what to consider? Wednesday 12th July 12.30pm – 1.45pm. Harborne Parish Lands Charity 109 Court Oak Road, B17 9AA
Through providing grants—or other forms of investment and support—funders enable individuals, charities and social enterprises to make a difference. Many funders have been thinking about how to address the impact measurement challenges they and their grantees face. Funders have a critical role to play in shaping behaviour around impact practice, and their approach and support can strongly influences practice among their grantees and investees.
Steven Simpson, Harborne Parish Lands Charity and Melinda Connelly BBC Children in Need will share their approach and experience of assessing the impact of their grants. This is not a science and the size of diferent trusts based on income , grant giving amounts and capacity to monitor and measure impact will all affect the level ot which one can look at impact being made by a grantee and of one’s trust. This discussion will explore what is good impact practice and share and learn from each other.
